ACT SPRING 2025 TEST DATE SELECTION
The Test Coordinator responsible for the ACT in your district should have received information from ACT regarding Test Selection Dates for Oklahoma Spring 2025 State Administration. This also serves as a check on the shipping address for each district/site. Please complete the Test Selection in Pearson Access Next no later than December 6, 2024. As a reminder, you may choose EITHER Test Window 1, starting on March 25 and ending April 4, or Test Window 2, starting on April 8 and ending on April 18, as your initial test date. Test Window 3 is not an option for the initial test date selection.
ACT WORKKEYS
Oklahoma students have the opportunity to earn a National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC®) by completing WorkKeys Assessments online in Applied Math, Workplace Documents, and Graphic Literacy. This opportunity is being offered by the Oklahoma State Department of Education to Oklahoma public school students in grades 11 and 12. The testing window is September 23 through December 13, 2024*. Schools that would like to administer the assessments are encouraged to visit the Oklahoma ACT WorkKeys site for more information.

2025 PASSAGE REVIEW COMMITTEES
The Oklahoma State Department of Education (OSDE) and Cognia will convene committees of educators to participate in a passage review meeting to evaluate the new passages being developed for the 2026 assessment year to ensure they meet the standards and expectations of the OSTP.
The meeting dates are scheduled for February 3, 2025, for grades 3-5 and February 4, 2025, for grades 6-8. Meetings will be held virtually from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.
Educator input is valued, so please encourage your outstanding ELA teachers in grades 3-5 and 6-8 to apply by completing this Google Form. Seats are limited.
Selected committee members not on contract will receive an honorarium of $150 per day. Selected committee members on contract will receive substitute reimbursement. Details on how to submit your information for either of these options will be emailed to all selected committee members.

Public Notice and Comment Period for the 2024-2025 1.0 Percent Waiver Extension Request Pursuant to 34 C.F.R. §200.6(c)(4)
OSDE is requesting that Special Education Directors submit a public comment regarding the plan, timeline, and progress we have made implementing the plan described in the waiver. The US Department of Education considers waivers with public comments to have met the public interest threshold defined in section 8401(d)(2)(B) of ESEA. Public comments must be submitted no later than 5:00 p.m. on Friday, November 22, 2024.
