Assessment Updates
ACT Fall Testing Opportunity for Seniors: Deadline This Friday
The Oklahoma State Department of Education is excited to announce a free fall testing opportunity for Oklahoma public school seniors. The number of tests that are available is limited and will be offered on a first come, first served basis. It is recommended that seniors who did not take the CCRA ACT in Spring of their junior year take advantage of this opportunity in order to meet graduation requirements as an OPI will be calculated (however, no writing tests will be administered). Also, college-bound seniors who want to take the test again are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity. There are currently several thousand tests still available.
Please note that districts/sites will need to upload student rosters themselves. Students/parents who want to take advantage of this opportunity will need to reach out to their local public high school. Only students classified as seniors (12th grade) are approved for this Fall Re-take Opportunity. The tests will be offered online except for students with approved ACT Accommodations for paper testing. Districts who selected paper testing will be changed to online testing.
The deadline for districts to select their test date administration and upload their students is this Friday, August 23, 2024.

2024-2025 DTC DESIGNATION FORM
The new District Testing Coordinator (DTC) Designation Form is now available. The form is due by October 1, but the sooner we receive DTC information, the sooner your new personnel will receive updates and communications from us and our vendors. The form asks for the basic district information along with the names and contact information for the DTC, Alternate DTC, EL Coordinator, Technology Coordinator, OAAP Test Coordinator, and CCRA Test Coordinator (for the ACT), if applicable.

SPRING 2024 SCORING REPORTS

All final Spring 2024 State Assessment scores are now available in the Accountability Reporting Application in Single Sign On, as well as in the OSTP Portal.

All final Spring 2024 State Assessment scores are also available in the Parent Portal.

The Performance Level Lookup Table for Spring 2024 State Assessments scores is available on the Cognia Help & Support site under the “Test Coordinator Information” tab.

CCRA Individual Student Reports will be delivered in districts by September 16, 2024.

OSTP Individual Student Reports and Labels will be delivered in districts by October 21, 2024.
Oklahoma students have the opportunity to earn a National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC®) by completing WorkKeys Assessments online in Applied Math, Workplace Documents and Graphic Literacy. This opportunity is being offered by the Oklahoma State Department of Education to Oklahoma public school students in grades 11 and 12 at no cost to you. The testing window is September 23 through December 13, 2024*. Schools that would like to administer the assessment are encouraged to visit the Oklahoma ACT WorkKeys site for more information.
ACT will be hosting the following webinars regarding ACT WorkKeys. Registration links are embedded in the description of each webinar.
*IMPORTANT: Funding is limited, and the assessments will be offered on a first come, first served basis.
**Paper and pencil tests are only available for testers with accommodations.
