Authorization to Pay form. Due September 1. Mail completed form to the receiving district and your region specialist.

ALTED PLAN ~ SINGLE SIGN ON

The Alternative Implementation Plan will open August 1, 2024, and must be completed and certified in Single Sign On by September 1, 2024.

The revised Alternative Education Implementation Plan includes a new provision that allows districts without prior programs to bypass the comprehensive data requirements previously necessary. This change aims to streamline the process for these districts.

• A. Only answer Yes if you do not have an Alternative Education Program. Other wise answer No.

• If answering Yes, I confirm my district will not have an Alternative Education Program this year and will not enter into cooperative agreement with another district because my district has zero alternative education students. I also confirm I have completed a waiver or have an approved waiver to serve less than 10 students for this year.      

The Alternative Education Implementation Plan will also have new SDE approval status at the top of the welcome page. They are:

• SDE APPROVED (FINAL)  

• SDE APPROVED (CO-OP SENDING SCHOOL)      

• SDE APPROVED (CO-OP HOSTING SCHOOL)       

• SDE APPROVED (NO PROGRAM)      

• SDE APPROVED (PLAN OF IMPROVEMENT)

TEACHING OUT OF CERTIFICATION (TOC) FORM

The Teaching Out of Certification Exemption Request (TOCER) is for programs that meet the 16 components for Alternative Education Programs. (70 O.S. § 1210-568).

"Teachers must be certified teachers but are not restricted to grade-specific or subject specific areas. Assignments out of regular subject area(s) or grade level(s) certification requires State Department of Education approval.” (OAC Section 210:35-29-6).

Access the TOC form TOC. When completed, email to your region specialist.

Applications are due Oct. 1.
