The ELP Band Exit Request Window will open Thursday, August 1, 2024, through Friday, August 30, 2024. Please review the following guidance as some clarifications have been added to existing exit criteria.
Purpose of the ELP Band Exit Process
The purpose of the Band Exit Process is to provide an exit path for EL students who have demonstrated the level of English language proficiency necessary to ensure ongoing academic success without the continued provision of EL-specific services and supports.
Note that LEA participation in the ELP Band Exit Process is not required and that individual student appeals may be submitted at local discretion in Accountability Reporting.
ELP Band Exit Process Guidance

The qualifying score for the ACT suite of assessments is a Reading subtest score at or above the national 35th percentile. Official score reports will need to be uploaded as documentation.

The qualifying score for the SAT suite of assessments is an Evidence-Based Reading and Writing score at or above the national 35th percentile. Official score reports will need to be uploaded as documentation.
- OSTP ELA scores are currently available in the Accountability Reporting application.

New EL test coordinators, please complete the following form to update the EL Coordinator Designation for the 2024-2025 school year.
