IMPORTANT!! EdPlan Information

Due to leap year in 2024, EdPlan will throw an error in the IEP that states " You must indicate an IEP end date that is equal to or less than 365 days from the IEP meeting date or IEP begin date."

Typically, the end date will auto-populate to the date one calendar year from the IEP begin date. In the case of the leap year, the auto-populated date will be 366 days; thus, creating the error. The solution to this error is to manually enter a date that is 365 days from the meeting or begin date.

Example 1:

Meeting Date: March 1, 2023

Begin Date: March 1, 2023

End Date: February 29, 2024

Example 2:

Meeting Date: March 16, 2023

Begin Date: March 16, 2023

End Date: March 15, 2024
