The ACCESS Online for ELLs Test Setup Window begins on Wednesday, December 14, 2022 and continues through March 24, 2023. In WIDA AMS, test setup enables you to see students and modify test sessions. If you are administering ACCESS Online for ELLs, you must ensure that your students are assigned to the correct test sessions.
If Pre ID data was submitted, students will be placed automatically in generic test sessions based on their grade cluster level and domains. To view the test sessions, go into WIDA AMS and click to Test Management > Manage Test Sessions. This view, which may be filtered by district or school, indicates the test session's status: Not Started, In Progress, or Completed.
Points to Note
- Add new EL students grades 1-12 that are taking ACCESS Online who enrolled after the WIDA Precode.
- Remove any students that are taking ALT ACCESS from testing sessions.
- Remove students from test sessions who have been granted a Misidentification Appeal to be removed from EL status.
- Students taking K ACCESS will not be included in WIDA AMS and do not need to be uploaded.
The OELP placed the initial order of materials using the WIDA Precode. Districts will receive test materials on January 6, 2023.
Districts that require additional materials can submit an order in WIDA AMS during the additional test material ordering window, which runs from January 6, 2023 to March 17, 2023.
