Assessment data from the 2022 administration will be available no later than Monday, Sept. 12, in the OSTP Data Portal. These data are available for your school and district to review until Tuesday, Sept. 20. On this date, aggregate assessment data will be made publicly available, and student reports will be available in the Parent Portal. As a reminder, the data made available in the OSTP Data Portal (on Sept. 12) are intended to support schools and districts in interpreting results and in evaluating instructional programs.
NOTE: During this district review period, these data cannot be shared externally, as data security practices and FERPA regulations restrict access to student-level data only to individuals with a legitimate educational interest.
To support your local efforts, the OSDE has created several guidance documents and webinars. Please sign up for a webinar using one of the links below. Webinars will be recorded and posted on the Office of Assessments webpage in case you cannot attend the live session.

The Class Size Verification application is now open in Single Sign-On in read-only mode. Please review how your school's student information system (SIS) data is displayed within the system. Errors will be marked with a yellow exclamation point. Please note that all errors will need to be corrected within your local SIS and NOT the application.
The class size verification application will remain in read-only mode until Sept. 15 when schools will have the opportunity to begin confirming and certifying their data. Note: School Personnel Records will have to be certified prior to certifying any data in the class size verification application.

The Purple Star program is designed to help schools respond to the educational and personal challenges of military-connected children, particularly their transitions to new schools and keeping them on track to be college, workforce and life-ready.
To qualify for the Purple Star distinction, school districts must:
- Designate a staff member to serve as a military liaison to students and families
- Maintain an easily accessible webpage with resources specific to military students and families, including relocation assistance, records transfer, academic planning, counseling services, etc.
- Operate and maintain a student-led transition program to help facilitate military-connected students’ entry into the school/district
- Provide school employees professional development related to military-connected students
- Offer an initiative to recognize a military child, partner with a military installation or issue a resolution in support of military children and families
Applications are due Oct. 3. Interested districts can request a link to an application by emailing Elizabeth Suddath at elizabeth.suddath@sde.ok.gov.
District Capacity (Quarterly)
Each district is required to submit the number of students that each site within the district has the capacity to accept for the upcoming academic quarter. This data must be provided for each grade level at each site within the district.
Incoming Open Transfer Results (Quarterly)
Each district is required to review the summary of transfer results to verify accuracy.
Both reports will open Sept. 15 in Single Sign-On and close Oct. 15.
For instructions on how to complete both reports, review the Student Transfer System User Guide.
If you have questions, contact the Office of Accreditation at (405) 521-3335.
The Student-Level First Quarter Statistical Report (FQSR) is now open. This report is located under the Wave > Reporting > State Reporting Certification. Please review the data with an emphasis on making sure all calendars are correct and resolving any errors.
The alternative education data should be reviewed to ensure that all alternative education students are marked correctly in the district's student information system. Any changes to the alternative education data in the FQSR will NOT be carried over to the Annual Statistical Report.
Note: A training video and manual are posted alongside the general instructions section of the report.
The deadline to certify this report is Nov. 30.

The Office of School Safety & Security will host a webinar about human trafficking on Sept. 15 at 1:30 p.m.
Thousands of school-age children in Oklahoma are vulnerable to being trafficked. Some victims will continue attending school during the day — and riding the school bus — even while they are being trafficked or groomed at night and on weekends. School transportation professionals may observe red flags that a child on their bus is being exploited or can play a preventative role by noticing signs that a child may be at risk of being trafficked or is being groomed for the sex trade.
Guest speaker: Lexi Higgins with Truckers Against Trafficking and the National School Program called Busing on the Lookout (BOTL).
