Opening Soon: ELP and OSTP Assessment Correction Windows!
Later this fall, the Office of Accountability will be calculating and reporting accountability indicators found within the “Indicators” tab at the Oklahoma School Report Cards website (https://oklaschools.com) for SY 2021-2022.
· ELP Assessment Correction Window for WIDA ACCESS and ALT ACCESS assessments: June 10-27th
· OSTP Assessment Correction Window: June 14th-June 29th
The purpose of the English Language Proficiency (ELP) Assessment Data Verification (DVR) Window, opening later today, is to provide districts the opportunity to review and update student participation and demographic data related to the WIDA Kindergarten ACCESS, ACCESS for ELLs and Alternate ACCESS for ELLs assessments. Completing this review process will require site and/or district-level access in the Accountability Reporting application and will open Friday, June 10, 2022 and closes Monday, June 27, 2022, at noon. For assistance on the ELP Assessment Data Verification Window, please use this guidance document to help school users in reviewing student data. This window is to create DVRs for WIDA ACCESS and ALT ACCESS assessments.
The Oklahoma School Testing Program (OSTP) Assessment Correction Window will open Tuesday, June 14, 2022, in the Accountability Reporting application on Single Sign-On. During the Assessment Correction Window (which closes Wednesday, June 29th, at 5:00 PM), districts are asked to review the student information for all students in grades 3-8 and 11. We ask districts to check FAY status, demographics, and that assessment scores are displaying for students who took the assessment. The preliminary assessment scores are available in the OSTP portal and will be displayed in the Accountability Reporting app once the window opens. We strongly encourage you to engage with this review process, as the upcoming Assessment Correction Window serves as the only opportunity to review SY 2021-22 student-level assessment data.
We greatly appreciate your partnership in ensuring the highest quality of data, as this will allow for meaningful interpretations.
IMPORTANT DATA NOTE: It is IMPERATIVE to ensure that data displayed within the “Students” tab in the Accountability Reporting application matches students’ demographic information as coded in your local SIS. Needing to correct these values during the Assessment Correction Window is not anticipated because these data have been previously reviewed during the Precode and Demographic Overlay windows.
“Rolling” your SIS ahead to SY 2023 causes your SIS to no longer send SY 2022 information to the Wave. If your SIS has already been “rolled” ahead to SY 2023, you will need to create a DVR for any instance in which a student has incorrect demographic information. If any demographic discrepancies exist and you have not yet rolled your SIS forward to SY 2023, you can simply make any necessary adjustments within your SIS.
