To provide LEAs the greatest amount of flexibility, the 2021-2022 ELP annual assessment window has been extended through April 8.
The Office of English Language Proficiency recognizes the challenges that might have delayed testing and is extending the ELP annual assessment window to accommodate LEAs in ensuring that every English Learner has the opportunity to be assessed. Although extra time has been granted, LEAs are encouraged to ensure the greatest number of EL students possible complete the ELP annual assessment prior to the original March 24 close date.
As a result of this extension, the following dates have been modified.

We are excited to announce that the Oklahoma State Department of Education is hosting free training for the PREPaRE School Crisis Prevention and Intervention. Through a U.S. Department of Justice grant, the OSDE is able to offer this training to schools at no cost through reimbursement to your district following the training.
The training consists of two workshops. Workshop 1 is held on the first day, and Workshop 2 is held over the following two days. We have 100 spots available for Workshop 1 and 40 spots for Workshop 2.

You do not need to sign up for both workshops. However, first preference for a spot will be given to those who sign up for both. We must have 15 people attend each workshop in order to provide the training.

The Oklahoma State Department of Health will provide the final diabetes management training for the 2021-2022 school year on March 3, from 9 a.m.-12 p.m.. If you, or any of your staff members need this training, please register on Safe and Healthy School Professional Learning Webpage.
