Oklahoma has received authority from the USDE to waive the Title I, Part A 15% carryover limitation of ESEA Section 1127(b) for FY21. This waiver permits an LEA the flexibility to carry over more than 15% of its Title I, Part A current year funds from FY21 to FY22 without requesting a waiver from the Office of Federal Programs. This applies even if the LEA had requested and received approval to exceed the 15% carryover limitation in the previous three years.
If you have questions, contact the Office of Federal Programs at (405) 521-2846.

Scholarships and educator awards totaling $125,000 will be presented at the foundation’s 36th annual Academic Awards Banquet on May 21 at the Omni Hotel in Oklahoma City. - A combined SAT evidence-based reading & writing and math score of at least 1370
- Selected as a semi-finalist for a National Merit, National Achievement or National Hispanic Scholarship
Eligibility must be verified by the district superintendent or high school principal. Academic All-State nominations must be submitted by Dec. 2 at 5 p.m.
Given the unique circumstances surrounding ACT and SAT testing during the COVID-19 pandemic, an alternative nomination criterion is available to students who have been unable to take the ACT and/or SAT test in 2021. Students who took the ACT or SAT in 2021 but did not receive the minimum required score are not eligible for this alternative.
