Dear District Administrators,

Oklahoma law requires school districts to immediately notify the local/county health department of known positive COVID-19 cases and exposures in school. 63 O.S. § 6303(B). To accomplish this, the Oklahoma State Department of Education (OSDE) and Oklahoma State Department of Health (OSDH) have established a uniform reporting mechanism for schools, accessible to authorized school and health officials through Single Sign-On.

School districts are required to use this portal to report their positive cases of students and staff, as well as quarantined students and staff. Now on Single Sign-On and operational for your use, this reporting tool is intended to take the place of current reporting methods that districts are using to communicate with their local health departments. All local health departments will use this reporting mechanism to compile and track cases of COVID-19 in schools. This mechanism will also be used for the reporting of results by districts that conduct on-site BinaxNOW testing for COVID-19.

Information contained on this page is to be self-reported by school districts on a daily basis and verified through collaborative work with health officials. Neither OSDE nor OSDH can verify the reported information and, as such, makes no representations regarding the accuracy of the data presented. This data is subject to change, and may be different than information reported elsewhere due to timing of reporting or other factors.

While the reporting tool is easily accessible and instructions are available on Single Sign-On, the OSDE will offer training sessions on the reporting tool Monday and Tuesday via Zoom.

Interested parties can join one of the Monday sessions, which are designed for districts that are not conducting on-site COVID-19 testing. Tuesday’s session is for districts that are conducting on-site BinaxNOW COVID-19 testing. Information is below:
