RE: Updated COVID-19 FAQs for Oklahoma Public Schools

Dear District and School Leaders,

You have approached the first two weeks of distance learning with an open heart, innovation and attention to ensuring students re-establish critical connections with their teachers and classmates.

As we begin to look ahead to the final weeks of the current school year, we want to be sure you are receiving updates to our COVID-19 FAQs for Oklahoma Public Schools . Today's revised edition includes new information on the CARES Act, driver education, general fund balance penalties and federal funding flexibilities. The work you are doing to feed kids is nothing short of incredible, and we have included a section on how to seamlessly transition your current program into one that provides meals for kids all summer long.

I know how hard you and your staffs are working and am inspired by the stories you are sharing. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for always putting kids first.
