Free SketchUp Access for Home Use

I know you are all scrambling to help your schools prepare for distance learning. I will be sharing more information for your schools soon. I just received this information from SketchUp and wanted to share it with you now. The following information was shared with me by Steven Griffin, from SketchUp.
In order to provide uninterrupted SketchUp access to the unprecedented numbers of students and teachers now working/studying from home, we have implemented some temporary changes to the way students can access SketchUp.
SketchUp for Schools
For many users, transitioning to our web app, SketchUp for Schools, will be the easiest way to continue working in SketchUp during this time. SketchUp for Schools is a (free!) web-based version available through Google (G-Suite Marketplace) and Microsoft (O365) education platforms. As a web app, SketchUp for Schools is compatible with Chromebooks, does not require licensing and features built in training tutorials and curriculum.
SketchUp for Schools will be available to everyone through June 30th without the previous requirement of your school subscribing to Google Apps for Education or Microsoft Education. Students and teachers can use a personal or school email to sign in. To get started, please direct educators to visit: https://www.sketchup.com/education/sketchup-for-schools
SketchUp Pro
We realize that SketchUp for Schools will not suit all users needs, so we will continue to offer SketchUp Pro to those who need the additional features for their curriculum.
Below are replacement grant licenses you can distribute while students and educators are working from home. These temporary licenses are not tied to the IP address whitelisting system so students should not have an issue with installation.
