The Oklahoma School Report Cards for 2017-18 are now open for district review on Single Sign-On through the Accountability application. At the end of the review period, the information will be presented to the State Board of Education for certification and released to the public.
According to 210:10-13-18(c)(6)(B) of the Oklahoma Administrative Code:
“Prior to the final release of school performance grades, a school district shall have at least ten (10) calendar days to certify the calculation of the performance grade. If the school district determines that a different performance grade should be assigned because of the omission of certified student data, a data miscalculation or special circumstances that might have affected the grade assigned, school districts may submit a request for a review of the data calculation to the State Department of Education.
“All evidence supporting the district’s claim of a calculation error and documentation of all elements to be reviewed by the Department must be submitted within the time limits specified in this subsection. No request for review of the calculation shall be accepted after the expiration of the review period. Changes to the criteria, data or process shall not be considered as part of this review.”
Requests to review the calculations may be submitted via a correction data verification request (DVR) through the Accountability application (School Summary Page ®Submit or Review a Data Verification Request). Please submit these requests no later than noon on Feb. 25, 2019. Pending approval by the State Board of Education, the new Oklahoma School Report Cards will be publicly released on Feb. 28, 2019.
OSDE has developed a number of resources to help educators and family members talk about the new school report card. Please visit the Accountability home page, https://sde.ok.gov/accountability-assessments, to see e-learning modules focused on various aspects of the new accountability system, a demonstration of the accountability dashboard, FAQs, a report card overview and more. Additional resources will be shared as they are available.

Hunger does not stop when school is out.
Together we can ensure that children of Oklahoma get the nutritious meals they need this summer through SFSP or Seamless Summer Option (SSO) under the National School Lunch Program (NSLP).
Schools are ideal Summer Food Service Program sponsors.
There are children 18 years old and under in every county in Oklahoma who need food for the summer months, but several counties do not offer a Summer Feeding Program.
Increasing the number of schools participating as sponsors in the SFSP or SSO will help move toward the goal of having at least one summer feeding program in every county. Please consider sponsoring a site for SFSP this summer.
To have a successful 2019 Summer Food Service Program, contact the Office of Child Nutrition at (405) 522-4943 for assistance in becoming a sponsor.
