Grades 4 and 5 Online Readiness Tool
The Online Readiness Tool for Grades 4 and 5 for the OSTP assessment is now available in kiosk mode and online. This tool was created to allow students to become familiar with the different tools* available on the test. Students should use the readiness tool to become familiar with the online tools available, as well as the formatting of the multiple-choice items and the writing prompt for grade 5. Please remember that the intent of the readiness tool is not to predict a student’s performance level on the operational assessment, but to familiarize them with the online platform.
To access the readiness tool online, click on the following URL:
https://okpracticetest.measuredprogress.org/student/login
Username: oklahoma
Password: student
*All available online tools are present for the readiness tool to allow for students that will need accommodations (e.g., text-to-speech). For the operational assessment, only students with a valid IEP, 504 Plan, or ELL accommodation will receive the accommodated online tools.
Parent Portal Release
The Parent Portal has been released! Parents/guardians may now log in to access student reports.
The Oklahoma Parent Portal is designed to provide students and parents with online access to a student’s state assessment scores. This portal will assist a student and his or her parents/guardians with tracking assessment information throughout the student’s academic career. The portal provides scores from the OSTP 2016-2017 and 2017-2018 assessments. The following resources have been posted on the OK Help and Support Site and will help you share this new feature with families.
- The Parent Portal Training video has been posted to the training tab of the Help and Support site. This is a recording of the WebEx training provided to educators.
- The OK Parent Portal Sample Logins file has been posted to the test coordinator information tab of the Help and Support site. This document provides Parent Portal login credentials to educators so they can familiarize themselves with the information parents and students will access. This is for educators only, and should not be shared with parents.
- The Parent Portal Guide has been posted to the portal guide tab of the Help and Support site.
- The OK Parent Portal Overview video has been posted to the test coordinator information tab of the Help and Support site. This is a video for you to download and share with families that will provide them with more information on how to use the portal.
- Understanding My Student’s Score document has been posted to the test coordinator information tab of the Help and Support site. This one-pager is designed to support sites as they work with their parents and guardians around understanding the role of state tests and how to interpret the scores.
Parent Interpretation Guide
In order to help families have a better understanding of the parent/student report and the information it contains, an interpretation guide has been created to share with families. This form is intended to be distributed electronically. Since hovering the mouse over various parts of the report will enable explanatory text boxes to pop up, printing the form will not provide families with the full guidance contained within the electronic version. The Parent Interpretation Guide is posted to the Help and Support site. This document should be downloaded and shared with families via email or the school website.
There is also a Spanish version of the document. The report page itself shows the English report, as it is sent to families. However, the pop-up text boxes have been translated to Spanish.

Please note: You will not see the text box when viewing the document on the Help and Support site; the form must be downloaded to enable the pop-up text boxes.
