The Crisis Team Training is for any district leader who is involved in the planning and implementation of crisis response in schools. Whether it is a natural disaster, death of a student, or violence on campus, all crisis situations require an adequate plan to ensure safety for all students. Superintendents, Principals, Counselors, and more are invited to attend this informative and interactive training focused on the unthinkable situations. Attendees will learn how to make a crisis plan, how to troubleshoot, how to train staff ahead of time, and more. The afternoon will be reserved for rolling up our sleeves and working on district/school crisis plan together as a team. Members of the OSDE and the Oklahoma School Security Institute (OSSI) will be on hand to help teams with their plans.
