The 2016-17 TLE Regional Advisory Groups have been such a huge
success that OSDE is looking forward to continuing the conversation and is
beginning the recruitment process for the next round of participants.
Five advisory groups representing various regions of Oklahoma will
meet three times a year to discuss current issues regarding evaluation,
improving the system and moving toward a performance-driven model.
The projected date for the first meeting is October 2017. If you
are interested in becoming an advisory group representative, contact Joyce
Cheatham at joyce.cheatham@sde.ok.gov.
EDUTAS (Educational Technical Assistance Services), with capacity-building support from the South Central Comprehensive Center (SC3), has
developed a series of professional learning opportunities for district leaders.
This training is open to assistant principals or new
principals free of charge and will include multiple face-to-face
trainings, virtual sessions, one-on-one coaching and a collaborative online
network. The leaders will be grouped into small cohorts for personalized
coaching, mentoring and support throughout the pilot project during the 2017-18
school year.
Participants will be recruited from Stillwater region districts and schools to enhance the principal
pipeline and accelerate student success.
This free training (valued at approximately $2,000 per
participant) is designed to prepare assistant principals and new head
principals for the challenges of leading their own buildings. The goal is
to produce strong school leaders, which will lead to stronger teachers and
enhanced student learning.
If you are interested in this training or have additional questions,
contact Robin Anderson at robin.anderson@sde.ok.gov
or (405) 522-8298.

updated from your local student information system (SIS).
The Alternative Education End-of-Year Program Report is due before
your program closes for the summer. This year, only aggregated information is

Gather your data before you sit down to complete the online form.
There is no way to save a partially filled out form.

- Print the page.
- Collect your answers to the
questions on the form using your student data.
- Open the online form again

required questions, click the Submit Button and your
