New treasurers and encumbrance clerks must complete 12 hours of
training within the first nine months of employment. As a result of House Bill

that any course of instruction or workshops offered for purposes of meeting the
requirements of subsections (a) and (b) of Title 70 shall be approved for

training based on the following: school finance law, accounting, duties, ethics
and responsibilities of the school district treasurer or encumbrance clerk.

As school gets under way, please review the detailed
district missing object report link, which can be found on the communication
page in the Wave.
This link will provide an Excel spreadsheet detailing the error types in your
district. In order to correct the errors found in this report, utilize the appropriate
validation wizard where an error explanation can be found. This is a great way
to ensure data accuracy prior to the opening of reporting windows. If you have questions,
please contact the SDE help desk at (405) 521-3301 or sdeservicedesk@sde.ok.gov.
Please
check your Missing Object Report (found using a link under the System Support
Communication header). If it shows that you have zero students under Students
Enrolled, then it is likely that SDE is still receiving 2016 data for your
district.
Non-Wengage
districts:
Please contact your district admin to roll over your school years. All of your
data should be synced at that time (it may take up to 24 hours once the
rollover is made for the data to be received and processed by the Wave).
Wengage
districts:
In your i-SI application, roll over your SIF School Year by navigating
to Setup Information > LEA Setup > LEA > Settings. Verify the
‘SIF School Year To Report’ is set to 2017.
