The Oklahoma Real Estate Commission will not be processing any applications, renewals, or submissions of any kind from Monday, December 14, 2020 – Friday, December 18, 2020. This “black out” period is necessary in order for the Commission to roll out brand new online services and online licensing on December 21, 2020. During these 5 days, you will not be able to access your online portal to submit any documents, renewals or payments. All submissions sent via mail, email or dropped off in person will be processed the following week.
As a result, December license renewals will be extended to January 16, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and strongly encourage all licensees to submit any requests, renewals or other documentation prior to December 14th.
Additionally, it is imperative for the new online services that all licensees have up to date e-mail addresses on file with the Commission. The Commission requests that all brokers fill out the template below with updated contact information for all licensees affiliated with your brokerage. Please e-mail this completed spreadsheet to apply@orec.ok.gov by Wednesday December 2nd at 5:00 PM. The Commission will send further instructions via email to assist you and your staff in logging into your new Oklahoma Real Estate Commission Member Portal. This new portal will provide brokers with brand new functions and abilities to assist you in conveniently managing your brokerage. Training sessions will be provided to all brokers in January, specific dates will be announced after December 21st.
All data extract functionality will be unavailable after Friday, December 11th. We are working with our new vendor to provide data extracts at a later date that will be announced.
Lastly, we would like to remind each brokerage that Governor Stitt’s Executive Order which previously allowed license renewal extensions due to COVID-19 will expire January 16, 2021. Please make sure that all associates currently working with your brokerage have renewed their licenses by December 31st, 2020 in order to avoid disciplinary action for working with a lapsed license.
We look forward to the providing upgraded online services on December 21st!
