TULSA, OK — The Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Authority (OMMA) has issued an emergency order to suspend the operations of Bud Guys LLP (DAAA-X7XP-Q2J9), effective immediately. The action follows an investigation revealing products sold by the dispensary posed an immediate threat to public health and safety, including 133 packages of medical marijuana/marijuana products labeled by and received from an unlicensed processor.
In addition to this discovery, on Wednesday, Jan. 21, OMMA investigators identified and embargoed several pounds of medical marijuana/medical marijuana products not reported in the state inventory tracking system. All OMMA-licensed businesses are mandated by law to utilize the state inventory tracking system to track the marijuana they grow, process and/or sell. This ensures that all marijuana is traceable in the regulated marketplace from the time it is planted to the time it is sold in a dispensary.
The products listed in the table below are subject to an administrative embargo and are not safe for consumption. Since the products were not tagged in the state inventory tracking system, testing of the products cannot be confirmed. Patients who purchased these products should dispose of them and/or contact a physician if they experience any adverse health effects. Patients can also report medical events via OMMA’s Health Impact Form.
