SUBJECT: Project initiation request update

The project initiation request (PIR) submission in ServiceNow has been updated to include a drop-down option to identify IT purchase requests. Please submit a PIR for all new IT purchases.
Once the IT purchase option is selected, the request will follow a structured review process:
- Security review (ATO).
- Enterprise Architecture team review.
- Chief information officer (CIO) review.
- Legal review.
This update will allow our team to clearly identify IT purchases and review them accurately and efficiently. A PIR is not required for renewals or change orders.
