Introducing phishing-resistant multifactor authentication!

Hello,

Welcome to the future of account security –  phishing-resistant multifactor authentication!

We are pleased to announce our implementation of Windows Hello for Business, a feature that allows you to access your Windows 10/11 devices using facial recognition, fingerprint  or a PIN. This innovative approach is not only simple and fast but also incredibly secure.

Starting on Oct. 23, you can set up Windows Hello for Business with just a few clicks.

Windows Hello for Business

Windows Hello for Business settings (like your PIN, face recognition, or fingerprint) are tied to the specific device you set them up on.

This security information does not move with you from one machine to another. This means:

  • You will need to use your regular password to sign in on a different computer (like a loaner device or a shared workstation in a conference room) unless you set up Windows Hello for Business on that new device as well.

  • If you set a PIN on your laptop, you won't be able to use that same PIN on a conference room PC or a desktop computer.

For detailed information on the enrollment process, please refer to the Windows Hello Enrollment Guide.

It's important to note that, even with Windows Hello for Business, passwords will still exist and must be updated when they expire.
