Program update: Transition from WorkQuest Oklahoma
After careful consideration, OMES Central Purchasing has determined it is in the best interest of both the State Use Program and state agencies to discontinue our partnership with WorkQuest Oklahoma.
The program will now operate in-house with OMES Central Purchasing, returning to the structure we maintained prior to contracting with WorkQuest Oklahoma. For assistance, please contact State Use Administrator Cristi Cole at cristi.cole@omes.ok.gov.

About the State Use administrator
As a former math teacher and network marketing executive, I have spent years helping people tackle confusing topics by breaking them down into simple, manageable steps. Whether I've been exploring complex math concepts or building strategies for large teams, my goal has always been the same: to find clear solutions to help people succeed.
I am passionate about finding smart, simple ways to get things done. As we work to bring the State Use Program back in-house, my focus will be on ensuring a smooth transition, building a strong foundation for the program and enhancing collaboration with our partners.

Video request: State Use supplier operations
OMES Central Purchasing has several upcoming opportunities to educate state agencies on the State Use Program. To promote the value and scope of the program, we are creating a video to present to agencies at these events.
The purpose of this video is to:
-
Demonstrate the quality and professionalism of the products and services provided.
-
Illustrate hands-on work processes, from production to delivery.
-
Showcase the people and purpose behind the work, which directly supports individuals with disabilities.
We are requesting short video clips from State Use suppliers that capture day-to-day operations, such as:
- Employees actively working on a product or providing a service.
- A brief shot of the production floor or a service team in action.
- A glimpse of the final product or service being completed.
If your organization would like to participate, please send video clips to SUreports@omes.ok.gov by Sept. 26.
