OMES Central Accounting and Reporting (CAR) is excited to announce the rollout of our service request platform's integration with the state’s work management system, ServiceNow.
About this transition: Previously, agency contact information updates were managed through Excel spreadsheets. With this transition, that manual process is being replaced. The Statewide Accounting and Finance Center of Excellence (FCOE) now offers dedicated ServiceNow catalog items to streamline how your agency submits and manages these updates.
Using ServiceNow to engage the CAR team:
Starting now, agencies are required to use ServiceNow to submit requests for updating key personnel contact details. This process ensures your team receives timely, relevant communications from OMES and stays informed about important statewide initiatives. All agencies must complete their annual update by Aug. 15. Additionally, updates should be submitted whenever there is a change in key agency personnel, not just during the annual update period.
For employees of most state agencies:
- Log in to ServiceNow using your employee ID number; no registration is needed. Select Browse Catalog and then Central Accounting & Reporting.
- The catalog items available are:

Agency Leadership Contact Update.
- Asset Management.
- CAR Misc. Questions.
- Finance Center of Excellence.
- New Chartfield Values.
- Submit a Form to CAR.
