Workday@OK updated reporting feature in compliance with EO 2024-29
OMES leaders,
Effective today, the Workday@OK team has updated the previous flexible work arrangement feature. This update is designed to streamline the process and comply with the reporting requirements established by the governor's Executive Order 2024-29. With employees expected to be in office full time effective Feb. 1, all exceptions to the full-time in-office schedule will need to be submitted to and approved by OMES Director Rick Rose.
Please ensure employees do not complete the Workday@OK task until you have communicated their approved schedule.
Included below are instructions for your employees once schedules are confirmed.
The flex work arrangement task can be completed in two ways:
- Announcement to all employees on Feb. 13: The Workday@OK team will post an announcement within Workday@OK to your employees, prompting them to launch their flex work arrangement.
- Employee self-enrollment: In addition to the announcement, employees may navigate to the Request Flexible Work Arrangement task by following the instructions in the Flex Work Arrangement User Guide.
Employees in-office full time:
- Select Full Time In-Office in the Type field.
- Select Submit.
This will auto-complete and bypass the agreement and approval process.
If you are currently unable to return to work due to insufficient office space for you or your team, please follow the instructions below:
- Select Hybrid-Remote or Full-Time Remote in the Type field.
- Select a prepopulated reason for the request. Note: selecting Hybrid-Remote will require you to indicate the Days of the Week you will be working outside of the office.
- Attach a document with your agency director’s approval using the category Flexible Work Arrangements. The process will not be submitted if there is no approval attached.
- Employees will receive a Review Documents step to agree to the Employee Flex Work Arrangement statement.
- Prior to submission, check with your supervisor on the number of days you are expected to be in the office. Once you select Submit, another task will generate to review the agreement.
- Once the Review Documents step is submitted, the request will route to your immediate supervisor for approval.
The supervisor can select Approve to complete the process or send back the request.
All work arrangements are subject to the provisions of EO 2024-29 and must be approved by agency executives. Exceptions made to full-time in-office arrangements can be discontinued at any time. If you have questions, please contact your OMES Human Resources business partner.
