Outlined below are detailed safety protocols for each building, specifically designed to protect all occupants during severe weather events. These guidelines provide clear actions and precautions tailored to the unique structure and location of each building.
Please make it a priority to follow the instructions of floor monitors at all times. Familiarizing yourself with these protocols will not only enhance your preparedness but also contribute to a safer environment for everyone. Will Rogers Building
- Please use the north and south stairwells to proceed downstairs to the basement.
- Once there, locate the OMES gathering point, which is situated to the east of the OEM office.
- Stay at this location for accountability purposes, and promptly report any missing team members to your floor monitor.
Lincoln Data Center
- Please use the northeast and southeast stairwells to proceed downstairs to the first floor safety shelter area.
- Once there, locate the assigned color-coded areas.
- Stay at this location for accountability purposes, and promptly report any missing team members to your floor monitor.
State Surplus Building
- Please proceed to the center of the designated shelter area.
- Close all doors behind you.
- Crouch down, protect your neck and head.
- If any team members are unaccounted for, report their absence to your manager for accountability purposes.
Connors Building
- Please use the south stairwell to proceed downstairs to the basement.
- Once there, locate the OMES gathering point near the snack bar.
- Stay at this location for accountability purposes, and promptly report any missing team members to your floor monitor.
Denver Davison
- Please use the north and south stairwell to proceed downstairs to the basement.
- Once there, locate the OMES gathering point.
- Stay at this location for accountability purposes, and promptly report any missing team members to your floor monitor.
Fleet Tower
Option 1, if it's safe:
- Please use the skybridge that connects to the Connors Building stairs and proceed downstairs to the basement.
- Once there, locate the OMES gathering point near the snack bar.
- Stay at this location for accountability purposes, and promptly report any missing team members to your manager.
Option 2, if Option 1 is not safe:
- Please proceed downstairs to the restroom.
- Close all doors behind you.
- Crouch down, protect your neck and head.
- Stay at this location for accountability purposes, and promptly report any missing team members to your manager.
ITAM Surplus Building
- Please proceed outside towards the tornado shelter.
- Promptly report any missing team members.
- Close the door and lock it for safety.
- Remain inside until further instructions are provided by the manager.
Federal Surplus Building
- Please proceed to the center of the designated shelter area.
