Communication distribution
In the continued spirit of improved communication, the Workday@OK Center of Excellence is revamping their communication distribution in 2025.
We've recently developed a new method to distribute Workday@OK-related communications that creates distribution lists based on the roles you have and functions you perform in Workday@OK. For example: If you have an HR role, you will automatically be added to any Workday@OK distributions related to performing HR functions within the system.
As we continue to make improvements, we have not stopped listening. You have the opportunity to bring your feedback directly to the Workday@OK team in real time by attending the User Group meetings, Office Hours and Release Live Sessions.
We appreciate your collaborative partnership in our quest for continuous improvement. If you have any questions about any Workday@OK items, submit an inquiry via the Service Portal.

What are NCCI codes (workers’ comp codes) and what action is needed?
The National Council on Compensation Insurance (NCCI) maintains more than 700 classification codes, known as NCCI codes. These four-digit codes represent the specific work duties and job classifications assigned to each employee and are used to determine risk exposure associated with particular job duties for workers’ compensation insurance.
Proper assignment of the classification codes is critical to have the correct base rates for a job. There are employees who have a blank NCCI code (workers’ comp code) placing them into an “Unknown” category, meaning employees are not assigned an NCCI class code in the system. Please review all employee NCCI classification codes for accuracy related to the employee’s job duties. When employees’ roles and duties change, their workers' compensation class code must also be reviewed for changes.
Action required: All employees must have a workers’ comp code entered in Workday@OK to ensure reporting is accurate. To avoid manual entries and excessive approvals, HCM's support team will be performing a bulk upload. All agencies must provide a spreadsheet with the employee ID and accurate workers’ comp code.
RPT00066 – Employee Information should be run and reviewed for any missing workers’ comp codes. Agencies must submit their spreadsheet to deanna.ferron@omes.ok.gov no later than Jan. 15. The Workday@OK project team will get the uploads done by Jan. 17. After this, agencies should run RPT00200 as part of the payroll process to ensure they don’t have blank NCCI codes when payroll runs.
If you are unsure of what code to use, please visit https://www.insurancexdate.com/classreport.php?search=&state=OK.
