This month, we want to begin by wishing everyone a happy and safe Fourth of July.

We're excited to share the July edition of the Grants Management Newsletter, where we highlight the latest advancements across Oklahoma utilizing the Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds (SLFRF).

A couple of quick updates to share:

New GMO resources and templates

Please find linked below new resources for use by your teams. These include two revised templates for the written justification and labor reporting as well as two guidance documents concerning federal interest in real property and record retention requirements. We encourage you to utilize these resources.

Q2 reporting deadlines

It's time to submit the Quarterly Report to the U.S. Department of the Treasury by the end of July. GMO recently reached out to you about the upcoming treasury reporting deadline. If you did not receive this email, please reach out to our team. The deadline for submission back to GMO is July 12.

As always, if you ever have any questions, please contact me or my team for assistance.

Sincerely,

This month, we would like to highlight the Office of Juvenile Affairs (OJA) for their progress at Pivot in expanding access to youth counseling services with the opening of the newly renovated Goodrich Counseling Center.

The state Legislature allocated $30,672,000 ARPA-SLFRF funds to OJA to address education disparities through academic, social, and emotional services to the youth of Oklahoma. Oklahoma Association of Youth Services (OAYS) includes 18 entities with active projects, including Pivot. According to Jennifer Goodrich, President & CEO of Pivot, nearly $1.5 million has been disbursed to OJA for the renovations to the center.

Pivot works with people ages 12-24, who are often homeless, at risk of being homeless, alone or disengaged. The organization provides programs and services that focus on meeting housing and basic needs, education and job assistance, prevention and intervention services, and therapeutic care. Pivot is committed to the long-term impact in the lives of marginalized youth. With the help of ARPA-SLFRF funds in the opening of the Goodrich Counseling Center, Pivot is able to serve more young people and make a broader impact.

Keep an eye out for more information on Pivot to be distributed in our next newsletter.
