EAP and Thrive collaboration

To focus on mental and emotional health, Thrive has partnered with the Employee Assistance Program since the 2020 pandemic.

EAP’s mission is to empower state agencies and employees to build hope and resilience through education and promotion of mental health. They help resolve personal problems at no cost to employees and their family members. They also offer virtual support group programs, such as Wind Down Wednesdays and Café Connection.

Last tournament for Windy Cup Tour sparks showdown

Arrowhead State Park Golf Course hosted our fourth tournament on July 16. The course location was a beautiful setting by Lake Eufaula.

A shotgun start helped everyone finish by noon and avoided the extreme heat of that day, but the competition was evident when three teams scored 8 under par.

After following the handicap rules, the standings ended up with Driving Rangers finishing first, War Bears grabbing second and Bushwood Bombers coming in third. Longest Drive was captured by Richard Butcher of War Bears, and Driving Rangers’ Matt Stangl reached Closest to the Pin.
