RE: Updated Technology Service Rates. Join us at a town hall session to learn more.

The Information Services division of the Office of Management and Enterprise Services provides a range of technology products and services. Earlier this year, OMES engaged The Persimmon Group consulting firm to review rates charged and recommend changes. The primary purpose of the engagement was to align the rates charged with the costs to provide the products and services. As a matter of background, the rates charged associated with the services provided by IS have not changed since 2016.

The process to update service rates for FY 21 included discussions with a number of agency leaders, legislative leaders, executive branch leaders and information services professionals from other states. The rates proposed by The Persimmon Group were reviewed and approved by the Government Technology Advisory Review Board on Sept. 16.

The rates for FY 21 are being updated now so agencies can include the impact of these changes in their upcoming budget submittals due Oct. 1. The Persimmon Group and IS are conducting three town hall sessions to discuss the process and present the updated rates. You are invited to attend one of the following sessions:
  • Sept. 24, 9-11:30 a.m.
  • Sept. 26, 9-11:30 a.m.
  • Sept. 26, 1:30-4 p.m.

Register now for a 2019 Service Rates Town Hall session.

We hope you plan to attend. If you have further questions, please feel free to reach out to me at john.budd@omes.ok.gov or to State CIO Bo Reese at bo.reese@omes.ok.gov.
