There are just two days left to register for the Thursday, Nov. 16, Proper Prescribing CME. This required annual CME is FREE for OSMA members only. Registration ends Wednesday, Nov. 15, at noon. This live, virtual CME meets your proper prescribing credit required by the Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision and the Oklahoma Board of Osteopathic Examiners.

Thursday, Nov. 16 • 6 to 7 p.m.

1 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ 

Approved for 1 hour of proper prescribing credit by the Oklahoma Medical Licensure Board and the Oklahoma Board of Osteopathic Examiners.

 

Speaker: Cori Loomis, J.D.

Course Objectives: After attending the activity, the physician should be able to:

  1. Understand the requirements of Oklahoma laws pertaining to CDS prescribing; and
  2. Comprehend federal laws such as the Controlled Substances Act and others; and
  3. Review and be able to implement CDC prescribing tapering and ODS guidance; and
  4. Be aware of recent enforcement trends & developments related to prescribing.

All Oklahoma physicians with a DEA license are

required to take this one-hour course annually.  

This CME credit is due by a physician’s license

renewal date, not calendar year.
