NW Expressway and Pennsylvania

EMBARK Transit Center - 420 NW 5th St

NW 63rd Street and Meridian Ave

NW 36th Street and Classen Blvd.

Phase: Concrete stop for platform and sidewalk installment

Traffic Control: The right lane of southbound Classen Blvd. will be closed. There will be two southbound lanes open during this time.

Estimated Construction Timeline: 8/1/22 – 8/5/22

Phase: Electrical work and bus pad

Traffic Control: The right lane of northbound Classen Blvd. will be closed. There will be two northbound lanes open during this time.

Estimated Construction Timeline: 8/8/22 – 9/9/22

NW 56th Street and Portland Ave.

Phase: Concrete stop for platform & sidewalk installment

Traffic Control: Eastbound NW 56th Street will be narrowed just east of Portland Ave. There will be one westbound and one eastbound lane open during this time.

Estimated Construction Timeline: 8/1/22 - 8/15/22

NW Expressway and Pennsylvania

Phase: Sidewalk improvements

Traffic Control: The right lane of westbound NW Expressway will be closed between Pennsylvania and Villa and Pennsylvania and Belle Isle Blvd. The left turn lanes, as well as two thru lanes on NW Expressway will remain open.

Estimated Construction Timeline: 8/1/22 - 8/2/22

Phase: Platform construction and pull-off lane construction

Traffic Control: The right lane of westbound NW Expressway will be closed between the Belle Isle Blvd. and Pennsylvania Ave. The left turn lanes, as well as two thru lanes on NW Expressway will remain open.

Estimated Construction Timeline: Possible start next week

EMBARK Transit Center: 420 NW 5th Street

Phase: Electrical work, waterline work, platform work

Traffic Control: The two southbound lanes on N Hudson will be closed. There will still be one southbound and one northbound lane open during this time.

Estimated Construction Timeline: 8/1/22 - 9/16/22

Phase: Concrete bus pad & platform work

Traffic Control: The right lane of NW 63rd Street between Vermont Ave. and Meridian Ave. will be closed. There will still be one westbound lane open during this time.
