Important - Notice of Bail Bond License Renewal

***IMPORTANT - NOTICE OF LICENSE RENEWAL*** 

 

Your Oklahoma bail bond license will expire on August 31, 2013. Failure to renew the license by this date will result in expiration of the license without further notice. This is the only notification that the Oklahoma Insurance Department will send.

To renew the license, please visit the Bail Bonds page of the Oklahoma Insurance Department website at www.oid.ok.gov. Click Regulated Entities and Bail Bonds. Read the Renewing Instructions. Then click on Applying and Renewing a License Online or click on the NIPR logo. A credit card, electronic check, or PayPal account is required for payment. Allow five (5) business days for the renewal application to be processed. After the license renewal is processed, return to the Oklahoma Insurance Department website to print the license certificate.

If additional documents are necessary, the licensee is required to provide the documents before the license renewal can be processed.

All licensees must complete the required hours of continuing education (CE) prior to license renewal. To view the CE status, please visit the Bail Bonds page and click on Licensees: Print your education transcript. If the CE transcript indicates that the licensee is not CE compliant, please contact the CE provider. Licensees will need to be CE compliant at least 48 hours prior to submitting an application to renew the license.  

License Reinstatements may be completed for a period of one year past the license expiration date.
