OID Closure to Public

In response to the Governor’s emergency declaration to stop the spread of COVID-19, the Oklahoma Insurance Department's (OID) two locations will remain closed to the public until the statewide emergency is lifted and the agency is provided additional guidance. OID will continue to work remotely and will be able to assist you via phone, email, social media or website. All scheduled in-person meetings and events are postponed until further notice.
OID will continue to follow the guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and work with other state agencies and the insurance industry to protect the health and safety of Oklahomans.
OID license applications and renewals will still be accepted and applications may be completed online at www.licensing.oid.ok.gov. Payments and accompanying documents relating to OID licensure should be mailed directly to the respective program at Oklahoma Insurance Department Licensing Division, 400 NE 50th Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73105.
