Legal Information for Oklahomans

Take a Brief Survey to Help Us Improve Legal Reference Services in Oklahoma Libraries

Hello! We're asking library staff in all types of Oklahoma libraries to take a survey about their experiences with patrons who need reference for civil legal issues. Libraries are a cost-effective way for many Americans to research legal problems they may have. It's important to understand that librarians do not give legal advice, but librarians are still valuable sources of, and finders of, important information.

Your participation will influence the development of resources and training for library staff serving patrons who lack legal representation. Please ask your reference librarians to participate in the survey. The more responses, the better!

Take the Survey

This survey is conducted by a joint partnership of the Oklahoma Department of Libraries, the Oklahoma Access to Justice Foundation, and the University of Oklahoma's School of Library and Information Studies.
