Greetings stakeholders,

The Oklahoma Universal Fund (OUSF) Administrator has announced that eligible schools, libraries and health care facilities receiving funding from OUSF for broadband service may temporarily increase bandwidth as necessary without extra cost to aid in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Entities wishing to increase service should contact their service provider for details and availability.

Specifically, the FCC Order DA 20-290 waives the FCC’s gift applicable to the Rural Health Care (RHC) and E-rate programs through Sept. 30, 2020. Similarly, any temporary increase will be approved through Sept. 30, 2020, with an opportunity to extend if necessary.

If you have any questions, please contact me at brandy.wreath@occ.ok.gov.

I would also like to extend a special thanks to all of our beneficiaries who are working through these difficult times to selflessly provide these critical services for all Oklahoma's residents, even in the face of challenging circumstances. Once again, I am proud to be a part of the great state of Oklahoma. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Sincerely,

Brandy Wreath, Director
