Happy Giving Tuesday!
After a busy weekend of fellowship, food, and shopping, today is dedicated to giving back. We know there are so many organizations deserving of your support this time of year, and as you consider your end-of-year giving, we hope that you’ll remember the Oklahoma Historical Society. The OHS can only continue to chronicle the rich and diverse history of our state with help from people like you.
The OHS is both a private membership organization and an Oklahoma state agency, and we work diligently to spend our resources wisely. The state provides funds for overhead, such as staffing and building maintenance, to our 24 sites across the state. This means that we rely on grants and the generosity of our members and donors to fulfill our mission. 100 percent of all donations we receive on #GivingTuesday will go toward exhibits, collections care, and educational programming.
Don't forget that your donation is tax deductible. Even if you do not itemize your deductions, single filers may deduct up to $300 and married couples filing jointly may deduct up to $600. Please consider making a gift today to the Oklahoma Historical Society. You may also make a donation over the phone at 405-522-0317.

OHS COVID-19 safety measures
Per CDC guidance, we recommend that visitors who have not yet received a COVID-19 vaccination wear face masks and maintain social distancing in indoor public areas. All visitors, staff, volunteers, contractors, and vendors should use appropriate handwashing techniques.
We ask that you avoid visiting OHS museums, sites, and affiliates if you have COVID-19, are experiencing symptoms, have a fever, or are otherwise feeling sick or unwell.
