February 2026
Focus on heart-friendly habits this month! Brisk walks, lots of water and healthy foods like beans, oats, rice, eggs and veggies. Try home exercises like wall push-ups, seated leg lifts (lift one leg out and hold for 2-3 seconds; change legs and repeat), and chair squats (lower into chair until almost seated, then stand back up; do 10-20 reps).

Changes to SoonerCare eligibility are coming in 2026. It is important to make sure your information is up to date. Members who are eligible for coverage but do not have their information up to date could lose their benefits. It is very important to make sure OHCA has the right address for you. That way we can reach you with important information about your SoonerCare benefits. You can update your account at MySoonerCare.org.
Callback Feature
Have you had to wait for a long time when trying to call in for help? Use the callback feature. It allows you to get a callback in the same order we received your call. This allows you to hang up while still holding your place in line. No more waiting on the phone for a long time. When it is your turn, an agent will return your call. Make sure you don't have a spam blocker on and that your phone allows calls from unknown contacts.
Helpline Survey
After contacting one of our helplines, you will receive a text message from SoonerCare with a link to a short survey about your experience with us. This message is not a scam. Please take a minute to fill out the survey. Your input is very important to us. It helps us improve our service.

If you have diabetes, SoonerCare is here to help. We have many tools to help you live better with diabetes.
-
Free Training: You can get 10 hours of training during your first year. After that, you can get two hours each year. Some of the training is one-on-one, and some is in groups. The training is covered by SoonerCare, with no cost to you.
-
What it Offers: You'll learn how to manage your diabetes better, be more active and eat better. After the training, most people live healthier. They have fewer hospital visits and a lower risk of kidney, nerve and eye damage.
-
Where to Start: Ask your provider to contact a covered diabetes self-management program. Ask about getting a 90-day supply of your maintenance drugs for diabetes too. You might also be eligible for a continuous glucose monitor if you take insulin. It shows blood sugar levels in real time — day and night — without frequent finger sticks. People using monitors say they feel more confident, less anxious and more in control of their health. Ask your provider about a continuous glucose monitor.
