With OHCA's new callback feature, you can now request a call back instead of waiting on hold for an agent to answer. When you call, simply select the option to be called back. We’ll hold your place in line and contact callers in the same order we received the calls. There's no need to call multiple times — one call reserves your space in line. To use this feature, please make sure spam blocking is turned off on your phone. Sometimes when we return a call, it can show up as spam. Our phone number may also come up as a Colorado or Florida number on your caller ID.

Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer-related deaths. But early detection can save lives. March is Cancer Prevention and Early Detection Month. That means there's no better time to take advantage of SoonerCare’s low-dose lung cancer screening benefit. It's a great way to take steps to protect your health.
What is Low-Dose Lung Cancer Screening?
Low-dose lung cancer screening is simple and painless. It's a CT scan that helps detect lung cancer early, when it’s most treatable.
Are You Eligible?
You may qualify for the screening if you:
-
Are between the ages of 50-80.
-
Are a current smoker or have quit within the past 15 years.
-
Have at least a 20 pack-year smoking history.
-
Have no history or symptoms of lung cancer.
Why Early Screening Matters
Detecting lung cancer early can increase the survival rate up to 90% for stage I cases. Don’t wait, take the first step toward prevention and peace of mind.

OHCA is sending surveys to some SoonerCare members. We are working to make your experience the best it can be. If you get a survey, use the link or phone number to take the survey. The survey is available in English and Spanish. It only takes a few minutes to complete.
SoonerCare’s preferred drug used to treat hepatitis C is Mavyret®. It is available without prior authorization. It does count toward your monthly script limit though. Already taking a different hepatitis C drug? You can keep taking your current medication.
For adults, Mavyret is taken as three tablets once daily with food. For children ages 3 years and older, Mavyret pellets can be sprinkled on soft food. Each child’s dose is based on their weight.
Mavyret treats most types of hepatitis C, usually in 8 weeks. Some people may need 12 or 16 weeks of treatment.
Talk to your provider to see if you're at risk for hepatitis C. They can help you decide if you need to be tested. They can also help you decide if you need to be treated with Mavyret. If you are treated with Mavyret or another hepatitis C drug, it's very important to remember to take it every day. Doses must not be skipped, and the full course of treatment must be completed.
