Prenatal vitamins have different amounts and different kinds of vitamins and minerals. They are important to prevent birth defects, especially in the brain and spinal cord. They help build strong bones, teeth, eyes and skin. They help your baby’s developing blood cells. They may even help you have less morning sickness and more energy while pregnant!
Ask your health care provider which prenatal vitamin is best for you. For additional information, visit FAQ: Nutrition During Pregnancy. If you have questions about prenatal vitamin coverage, visit the website of your current SoonerCare health plan or call their pharmacy help desk.
OHCA is sending surveys to some SoonerCare members. We are working to make your member experience the best it can be. If you get a survey, use the provided link or phone number to take the survey. The survey is available in English and Spanish. It takes just a few minutes to complete.
Lisa is a longtime supporter of Oklahoma ABLE Tech. When she needed durable medical equipment to help her get around better, she knew where to look for help.
Lisa received a gently used four-wheeled upright walker from the Device Reutilization Program. The walker helped relieve her pain. It gave her back her independence and allowed her to be more active. Now Lisa can take part in activities like pain-free walks around her neighborhood. The walker also helps Lisa stand up straighter, which helps her breathe easier.
Lisa is grateful for Oklahoma ABLE Tech. “Austin and Meg responded immediately," she said. “This upright walker is absolutely what I needed. Thank you!”
The Device Reutilization Program provides free durable medical equipment to Oklahomans. It includes items like walkers, blood pressure monitors and shower chairs. Equipment is provided by need, regardless of income. The program is 100% donation based. It relies on help from community donations. To learn more or to donate a device today, visit the Device Reutilization page.
