SoonerCare encourages all members to receive information about their coverage by email rather than mail. This will help you get important updates sooner and avoid issues with lost or misplaced mail.

Important! - Update Your Information

It is important for all SoonerCare members to make sure all your information is up-to-date as soon as possible. 

Some information that may need to be updated could include:

  • Household income
  • Contact information (address, phone number, etc.)
  • Number of people living in your household
  • Missing documents

If possible, please use the member portal to upload documents for verification.

If you receive a letter or email from the Oklahoma Health Care Authority saying there is missing information from you, please update your account right away by logging in at mysoonercare.org. If you have any issues updating your account, please call the SoonerCare helpline at 800-987-7767.


Vaccination Update

Did you know SoonerCare covers most vaccines? Many are available at no charge and may not count toward your monthly prescription limit. To find out which vaccines are most important for your health, click the links below:

Want to view or print out a copy of your shot records? Visit the Oklahoma State Immunization Information System, OSIIS. You can view your shot records and find out which vaccines you may be missing. For more information about benefits and possible side effects of vaccines, talk to your health care provider. For questions about pharmacy coverage of vaccines, please call the Pharmacy Help Desk at 405-522-6205, option 4, or toll-free at 800-522-0114, option 4.


Lifestyle Changes for SoonerCare Members

SoonerCare Nutritional Benefit

Making lifestyle changes is an ongoing process. It takes time to stick to new habits and avoid slipping back into old ones. SoonerCare offers some members a nutritional benefit that includes six hours of advice from a nutrition expert to help you succeed in your health goals. Click here  to see if you qualify!

Medications to Help Quit Tobacco

Are you wanting to quit tobacco? SoonerCare provides a tobacco cessation benefit that covers all FDA-approved medication to help you quit tobacco. These do not count against the six-prescription limit per month. Learn more here.


Tulsa Course for Family and Friends of Someone Living with a Mental Illness

The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) in Tulsa is offering a no cost course for families and close friends of people living with a mental illness. This 8 week course will help family members understand and support their ill relative or friend and maintain their own well-being. Some mental illnesses include:

  • Bipolar Disorder (Also called Manic Depression)
  • Major Depression
  • Schizophrenia and Schizoaffective Disorder
  • PTSD and Panic Disorder
  • Borderline Personality Disorder
  • Obsessive Compulsive Disorder
  • Co-occurring Brain Disorders and Addictive Disorders

DATE: Tuesdays, June 28-August 16, 2022
TIME: 6:00-8:30 p.m.
LOCATION: St. Bernard’s Church
4001 E. 101 St, Tulsa, OK
