Please do not submit documentation for employees through the employer portal, as it will not be processed. Any employee documentation should be submitted through the member portal, email or fax.

Documentation Submission for Employers

Monthly invoices should be uploaded to the employer portal. Faxing or emailing can cause a delay in receiving the subsidy payment.

Reapplying for ESI

If an employee becomes over income for SoonerCare and needs to transition back to ESI, they will need to reapply. When the transition moved people from ESI to SoonerCare, the Insure Oklahoma box was unchecked on the applications and it will need to be rechecked for eligibility to be considered.

Eligibility when Transitioning from SoonerCare Back to ESI

When income is updated on applications within the 12-day end date period, ending SoonerCare in the first few days of a month, this pushes ESI out to the next month and leaves a gap in coverage.

Example: income updated Oct. 23. SoonerCare ends Nov. 4 and ESI begins Dec. 1. If you become aware of a case like this, please contact the helpline.

Note: if the gap in coverage is due to the application being updated prior to the 12-day period, we cannot backdate ESI.

Encourage Employees to Check That All Information is Up-to-Date

Please encourage your employees to review their cases on the member portal and update any information that may not be current. This may include income, address, telephone numbers and household members.
