OKLAHOMA CITY – Governor Mary Fallin today asked municipalities, religious congregations, military installations, organizations and cemeteries to ring bells Sunday, Nov. 11, to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the end of World War I.
The groups are asked to participate in the tolling of the bells at 11 a.m. Oklahoma time on Nov. 11, the 100th anniversary of the signing of the Armistice that ended hostilities in World War I. The U.S. World War One Centennial Commission is calling on Americans across the nation to toll bells at the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month to mark this solemn occasion.

OKLAHOMA CITY – Governor Mary Fallin today joined state and community leaders and executives from Kratos Defense & Security Solutions, Inc., at a ribbon cutting for the company’s new 100,000-square-foot unmanned aircraft production facility in the Will Rogers Business Park.
Kratos is a leading provider of high performance, jet powered unmanned aerial drone systems (UAS) for tactical and target threat representation purposes.
“We are excited to have Kratos start operations here in Oklahoma City,” said Fallin. “The company is an excellent addition to our state’s prominent aerospace industry, and will help this industry continue to advance.
OKLAHOMA CITY - Governor Mary Fallin today welcomed the announcement by Rural Sourcing, the leading provider of U.S.-based information technology outsourcing services, that it will open a development center in Oklahoma City.
The center will create 150 software development jobs that will provide solutions to Real Sourcing's Fortune 1000 and technology clients. This decision equates to a more than a $7 million investment in the first year into the community and reinforces Rural Sourcing’s mission of creating thousands of jobs in the United States.

TECUMSEH – Governor Mary Fallin and officials with the Oklahoma Office of Juvenile Affairs (OJA) today broke ground on the first phase of a project to build a state-of-the art therapeutic campus for young people requiring secure-care treatment.
The next generation campus will be built on the grounds of the Central Oklahoma Juvenile Center. Campus buildings will be refurbished and new residential cottages will be built. The project will be undertaken in stages, with final work to be completed by the end of 2020.
When the project is completed, the Tecumseh campus will serve as the single secure-care facility operated by OJA.
OKLAHOMA CITY – Governor Mary Fallin today declared a state of emergency for all 77 Oklahoma counties due to flooding, severe storms, tornadoes, and straight-line winds that have struck the state since Friday, Oct. 5.
The storm system has delivered widespread heavy rain and high winds across much of the state since then, with damage to power lines and power poles as well as trees, roofs and structures. Numerous tornadoes have also been reported. Additional severe weather and flooding are possible this weekend.
OKLAHOMA CITY – Governor Mary Fallin’s ninth annual Feeding Oklahoma Drive kicks off today with the goal of raising enough food and funds to provide 2 million meals to families, children and seniors living with hunger in Oklahoma. OKLAHOMA CITY – Governor Mary Fallin and the Oklahoma Department of Public Safety (DPS) today announced they have been notified that the U.S. Department of Homeland Security has granted the state’s REAL ID extension through Oct. 10, 2019.
This means the federal government will continue to recognize Oklahoma driver’s licenses and ID cards until that time.
“This is great news for Oklahomans, and means there will be no restrictions on individuals using Oklahoma licenses to fly or access federal buildings through October 10 of next year,” said Fallin. “Oklahoma is actively working towards full compliance.”
OKLAHOMA CITY – Governor Mary Fallin today said lawmakers approving an historic revenue package along with the state’s improving economy helped upgrade Oklahoma’s bond rating outlook.
Moody’s Investor Services announced it revised Oklahoma’s bond rating outlook from negative to stable.

OKLAHOMA CITY – Governor Mary Fallin today received the final report from the Oklahoma Veterans Pilot Program, a private/public initiative to develop a comprehensive health care access and delivery system for the state’s veterans.
The report’s findings recommends a three-year test period to demonstrate that proposed changes in health care access and delivery programs will be more cost-effective and efficient than the current system. It recommends placing health care outsourcing under state control and management as opposed to continuing the contracting of services through the federal Veterans Choice Program.
