Your Path to Individual, Group and Youth Hunting Opportunities; Including Once-in-a-Lifetime Elk Hunts!
The Controlled Hunts application period is currently open now. Hunters can enter drawings for a host of quality, ODWC-sanctioned hunts for species like deer, elk, antelope and turkey! The deadline to apply is May 20. New this year, hunters can purchase an additional preference point for elk hunts (limit one per applicant), which rolls over for hunters who are not selected for an elk hunt.
Two important changes to the program are being implemented this year, including the option to purchase additional hunt choice selections and better odds for certain elk and antelope hunt applicants:

Four New Raffles Available Now
The Wildlife Department recently announced its newest slate of Outdoor Oklahoma Adventures raffles, and tickets are available now! There are four raffles being offered, including a chance at a premier private land elk hunt in southwest Oklahoma (you're eligible even if you've been drawn for an elk hunt through the Oklahoma Controlled Hunts Program); a turkey hunt with Rio Rojo Outfitters; a fishing trip with the legendary Jimmy Houston at his southcentral Oklahoma ranch; and a lifetime combination hunting and fishing license. Outdoor Oklahoma Adventures tickets are $10 each, or $30 for a bundle of five tickets. Anyone can enter, whether or not you have a hunting or fishing license, and there is no limit to the number of tickets you can buy. All proceeds go directly to the Wildlife Department to fund conservation and public hunting and fishing opportunities for everyone. The last day to buy tickets is May 20. But why wait?
