SH-51 to open, remain narrowed at US-177 in Stillwater Monday

Eastbound and westbound SH-51 (Sixth St.) in Stillwater will reopen to traffic at US-177 by mid-day Monday, nearly a week earlier than expected. SH-51 will be narrowed to one lane in each direction between the Stillwater Central Railroad tracks and the US-177 (Perkins Rd.) intersection as part of an ongoing reconstruction project. Motorists should be alert to lane shifts on SH-51 (Sixth St.) on the west side of the US-177 (Perkins Rd.) intersection.

Additionally, northbound and southbound US-177 (Perkins Rd.) lanes remain narrowed to one lane in each direction between Hall of Fame Ave. and 12th Ave. through August.

The $7.4 million project is scheduled for completion in September.
