The projects below are weather permitting:
I-40 ramps, lanes close near Air Depot Blvd. nightly through Friday
Drivers should expect the following closures on I-40 from 8 p.m. tonight to 6 a.m. Thursday and continuing nightly through Friday for ongoing resurfacing work:
Intermittent on- and off-ramp closures on westbound I-40 at Douglas Blvd. (mm 159), Hruskocy Gate, S.E. 29th St. (mm 157B) and Air Depot Blvd. (mm 157A)
Westbound I-40 will be narrowed to one lane between Air Depot Blvd. and Anderson Rd.
Intermittent on- and off-ramp closures on eastbound I-40 at Air Depot Blvd. and Eaker Gate
Eastbound I-40 will be narrowed to one lane between Air Depot Blvd. and Hruskocy Gate
I-44 off-ramp to I-240 narrows Thursday
The westbound I-44 off-ramp (runs south) at mm 1A to eastbound I-240 will be narrowed from
9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday for surface repairs. Additionally, the S.W. 74th St. on-ramp to westbound I-44 (mm 114) will be narrowed for surface repairs.
I-44 narrows at S.W. 29th St. Thursday
Eastbound I-44 will be narrowed to one lane between S.W. 29th St. and the I-40 off-ramp from 9 a.m. to noon Thursday while crews hang an overhead sign.
Additionally, the S.W. 29th St. on-ramp to eastbound I-44 and the S.W.
15th St. on-ramp to eastbound I-44 both will be closed during this time.
Motorists are advised to use caution through the area.
I-40 narrows at South Canadian River near Hinton Thursday
Westbound I-40 will be narrowed to one lane and will shift onto a newly built bridge over the South Canadian River between mile marker 108 and mile marker 104 near Hinton from 8-9 a.m. Thursday with a rolling road block.
Eastbound I-40 also will narrow to one lane at the bridge at 8 a.m. Thursday for guard rail installation.
Motorists are advised to plan for delays and congestion as the traffic shift is completed.
Eastbound and westbound I-40 will remain narrowed to one lane at the South Canadian River bridge (mm 104) through the end of July for striping and guard rail installation.
I-44 narrows at N.W. 23rd St. tonight; N.W. 19th
St. is closed at I-44
N.W. 19th St. is closed to through traffic at I-44 through July for bridge rehabilitation. North Grand
Blvd. and N.W. Grand Blvd. will remain open on either side of the bridge.
Additionally, intermittent lane closures of eastbound and
westbound I-44 will occur between N.W. 23rd St. (mm 122) and N.W. 10th
St. (mm 121) from 7 p.m. tonight to 6 a.m. Thursday and continuing nightly through Friday.
I-44 speed limit is reduced to 50 mph through the work zone.
60th Ave. S.E. closed at SH-9 in Norman through August
North
and southbound 60th Ave. S.E. is closed on the north side of the SH-9
intersection through August. Drivers must locate an alternate route.
SH-9 lanes shifted at 36th Ave. in Norman through 2016
Drivers
can expect lane shifts and a reduced speed limit on SH-9 between 36th
Ave. S.E. and 72nd Ave. S.E. through 2016 for ongoing highway
reconstruction and widening.
On-going Construction Projects:
I-240 narrowed at Santa Fe Ave. through 2016
I-240 is narrowed to two lanes in each direction between Santa Fe. Ave. (mm 3A) and the I-35 junction (mm 4) through 2016 for on-going construction.
I-240 lane and ramp closures at Shields Blvd., I-240 Service Rd.
Motorists can expect the following lane and ramp closures for ramp reconstruction as part of the ongoing I-35/I-240 Crossroads interchange reconstruction:
The eastbound I-240 off-ramp to Shields Blvd. is closed. Drivers should use the Santa Fe Ave. off-ramp as an alternate route.
The westbound I-240 on-ramp from Shields Blvd. is closed. Drivers should use the Santa Fe Ave. on-ramp as an alternate route.
Westbound I-240 Service Rd. is narrowed to one lane at Shields Blvd. Drivers can make left turns to Shields Blvd.
The eastbound I-240 Service Rd. is narrowed to one lane at Shields Blvd.
This phase of reconstruction of the I-35/I-240 Crossroads interchange continues through fall 2017. The speed limit is reduced and drivers should plan extra travel time. More information: https://www.ok.gov/odot/Crossroads_Renewal_240.html
Compress Ave., S.W. 3rd St. closed downtown through 2016
The following city streets are closed for ongoing OKC Boulevard work:
Compress Ave. is closed east of E.K. Gaylord Blvd. and south of Oklahoma Ave. in Bricktown.
S.W. 3rd St. is closed at the E.K. Gaylord Blvd. intersection.
Motorists can expect intermittent, temporary lane closures on Shields Blvd./E.K. Gaylord Blvd. through 2016 for ongoing construction of the new BNSF railroad bridge just to the east of E.K. Gaylord Blvd. The speed limit remains reduced to 35 mph along E.K. Gaylord Blvd.
SH-66 (39th Expressway) ramp to SH-74 (Lake Hefner Parkway) closed daily through September
The eastbound SH-66 (39th Expwy) off-ramp to northbound SH-74 (Lake Hefner Pkwy) will be closed daily from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. for on-going bridge work through September. The ramp will be open on the weekend.
SH-37 (S. 4th St.) in Moore narrowed through mid-August
SH-37
(S. 4th St.) is narrowed to one lane in each direction between Santa Fe
Ave. and Bryant Ave. through mid-August for resurfacing. Drivers can
expect delays and should plan extra travel time.
Lindsey St. bridge, ramps at I-35 in Norman closed; detour on SH-9 East through early 2017
Drivers, including University of Oklahoma traffic, should use the I-35 on- and off-ramps at SH-9 East.
Lindsey St. traffic is detoured on Ed Noble Parkway/28th Ave. S.W., SH-9 East and 24th Ave. S.W.
Speed limits are reduced and drivers should expect delays on I-35, especially during peak travel periods, and plan extra time or consider an alternate route such as SH-77H (Sooner Rd.)
I-40 ramps at Anderson Rd. closed through summer for city project
The
east and westbound I-40 on- and off-ramps at Anderson Rd. (mm 162) are
closed through summer for a City of Oklahoma City project. For more

Meridian Ave. narrowed, lanes shifted at S.W. 29th St.
Northbound
and southbound lanes of Meridian Ave. between S.W. 29th St. and just
north of S.W. 15th St. near the Oklahoma River are shifted to new
pavement. Meridian Ave. remains narrowed to one lane each direction
through summer 2016 for an ongoing widening and resurfacing project in
partnership with the City of Oklahoma City.
I-35 narrowed near Guthrie through fall 2016
Northbound I-35 is narrowed to one lane from US-77 to the Cimarron River through mid-August for a resurfacing project that continues through fall 2016.
33rd St. traffic narrows at US-77 (Broadway) in Edmond through summer 2016
Drivers can expect lane shifts and the following closures at the intersection of US-77 (Broadway) and 33rd St. in Edmond:
US-77 (Broadway) will have intermittent lane closures
Eastbound 33rd St. is narrowed to one lane up to the intersection. Drivers may still turn right or left at the intersection.
Drivers should expect delays and are strongly encouraged to plan for extra time or to use an alternate route. This reconstruction and widening project continues through summer 2016. More information: http://www.ok.gov/odot/33rd_Broadway.html
Covell Rd. lanes shift at Sooner Rd. in Edmond
Motorists can
expect lane shifts to temporary pavement on Covell Rd. between Fairfax
Blvd. and I-35 in Edmond for a widening and reconstruction project
through summer 2017 in partnership with the City of Edmond. There also
will be lane shifts to temporary pavement on Sooner Rd. as part of the
intersection reconstruction. The speed limit is reduced to 35 mph
through the work zone. Motorists are advised to use caution in the area
and locate an alternate route, if possible. For more information,

I-40 narrows to one lane at I-40 Business near El Reno through July
Drivers can expect intermittent lane closures on both east and westbound I-40 at I-40 Business through July for bridge work. Eastbound will be open during morning rush hour, westbound will be open during evening rush hour.

I-40 will be narrowed
intermittently at mile marker 128 two miles east of US-81 for on-going interchange construction at
Radio Rd. continuing through 2016.
The City of El Reno has a companion widening project on Radio Rd.

I-35 narrows near Goldsby, Purcell daily through July
Southbound I-35
will be intermittently narrowed to one lane in each direction between near E. Ladd Rd. (mm 102) and Johnson
Rd. (mm 98) from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily through July for cable barrier
installation. No lane closures will be done on weekends.
