I-40 will be closed between Air Depot Blvd. and I-240 from 8 p.m. tonight to 6
a.m. Wednesday for ongoing resurfacing.
SH-74 (Lake Hefner Parkway) narrows at N.W. 122nd St. Wednesday
Northbound SH-74 (Lake Hefner Pwky) will be
narrowed to one lane between N.W. 122nd St. and Memorial Rd. from 8 a.m. to 4
p.m. Wednesday for cable barrier installation.
SH-74 (Portland Ave.) lanes open at Memorial Rd; Intersection at
N.W. 164th St. a 4-Way Stop
All
four lanes of north and southbound SH-74 (Portland Ave.) are now open to
traffic between Memorial Rd. and N.W. 164th St.
The
intersection of SH-74 and N.W. 164th St. remains a 4-Way Stop through
early July for ongoing traffic signal work.
I-44 ramp closes at N.W. 10th St. daily through
Wednesday
The westbound I-44 on-ramp
from eastbound N.W. 10th St. will be closed from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. daily
through Wednesday for ongoing bridge work.
SH-66 (39th Expressway) ramp at SH-74 (Lake
Hefner Parkway) closes daily through Friday
The eastbound SH-66 (39th
Expwy) on-ramp to northbound SH-74 (Lake Hefner Pkwy) will be closed from 7 a.m. to 5:30
p.m. daily through Friday for ongoing bridge work.
I-35 narrows at S.E. 15th St. daily this week;
Compress Ave., S.W. 3rd St. closed downtown through 2016
Northbound I-35 will be
narrowed to one lane between S.E. 15th St. and the I-235/I-40/I-35 Dallas
Junction from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. daily through Friday for bridge work
associated with ongoing OKC Boulevard construction. Drivers can expect heavy
congestion and delays and should plan extra travel time.
Other closures for
Boulevard work include:
Compress Ave. is closed east of
E.K. Gaylord Blvd. and south of Oklahoma Ave. in Bricktown.
S.W. 3rd St. is closed at the E.K.
Gaylord Blvd. intersection.
Motorists can expect
intermittent, temporary lane closures on Shields Blvd./E.K. Gaylord Blvd.
through 2016 for ongoing construction of the new BNSF railroad bridge just
to the east of E.K. Gaylord Blvd. The speed limit remains reduced
to 35 mph along E.K. Gaylord Blvd.
72nd
Ave. closes at SH-9 in Norman beginning Wednesday
North and southbound 72nd
Ave. S.E. will be closed on the north side of the SH-9 intersection Wednesday
through mid-July. Drivers must locate an alternate route.
SH-9
lanes shifted at 36th Ave. in Norman through 2016
Drivers can expect lane
shifts and a reduced speed limit on SH-9 between 36th Ave. S.E. and 72nd Ave.
S.E. through 2016 for ongoing highway reconstruction and widening.
I-240
narrows near Bryant Ave. Wednesday and Thursday nights
I-240 will be intermittently narrowed
to one lane in each direction between Bryant Ave. and Sooner Rd. from 7 p.m.
Wednesday to 5 a.m. Thursday and again from 7 p.m. Thursday to 5 a.m. Friday
for routine traffic sensor maintenance.
On-going Construction Projects:
I-35 narrows in Goldsby through June
Drivers can expect the following lane closures on I-35 in Goldsby through June for a cable barrier installation project. No lane closures will be done on weekends.
Southbound I-35 will be narrowed to one lane between SH-9 West and Ladd Rd. from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily.
Northbound I-35 will be narrowed to one lane between Ladd Rd. and SH-9 West from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily.
I-35 narrowed near Guthrie through fall 2016
Motorist can expect the following lane closures for a resurfacing project that continues through fall 2016:
Northbound I-35 is narrowed to one lane from the SH-33 to the Cimarron River.
Southbound I-35 is narrowed to one lane from the Cimarron River to US-77.
I-240 lane and ramp closures at
Shields Blvd., I-240 Service Rd.
Motorist can expect the following lane and ramp closures for ramp
reconstruction as part of the ongoing I-35/I-240 Crossroads interchange
reconstruction:
The
eastbound I-240 off-ramp to Shields Blvd. is closed. Drivers should use
the Santa Fe Ave. off-ramp as an alternate route.
The
westbound I-240 on-ramp from Shields Blvd. is closed. Drivers should use
the Santa Fe Ave. on-ramp as an alternate route.
Westbound
I-240 Service Rd. is narrowed to one lane at Shields Blvd. Drivers can
make left turns to Shields Blvd.
The
eastbound I-240 Service Rd. is narrowed to one lane at Shields Blvd.
This phase of
reconstruction of the I-35/I-240 Crossroads interchange continues through fall
2017. The speed limit is reduced and drivers should plan extra travel

33rd St. traffic shifted to new lanes at US-77 (Broadway) in
Edmond through summer 2016
Drivers can expect lane shifts and the following closures at the
intersection of US-77 (Broadway) and 33rd St. in Edmond:
US-77
(Broadway) will have intermittent lane closures
Northbound
US-77 (Broadway) is narrowed to one left-turn lane
Eastbound
and westbound 33rd St. is narrowed to one lane through the intersection,
and traffic has shifted to the new pavement on the south half of the
roadway. Drivers may still turn right or left at the intersection.
Drivers should expect lengthy delays and are strongly encouraged
to plan for extra time or to use an alternate route. This reconstruction and
widening project continues through summer 2016. More

I-40 narrows to one lane at I-40 Business near El Reno through
June
Drivers can expect intermittent lane closures on both east and
westbound I-40 at I-40 Business through June for bridge work. Eastbound
will be open during morning rush hour, westbound will be open during evening
rush hour.
I-40
narrows intermittently in El Reno through 2016
Drivers can expect
intermittent lane closures on I-40 two miles east of US-81 for on-going
interchange construction at Radio Rd. continuing through 2016.

Lindsey St. bridge, ramps at I-35 in Norman closed; detour on SH-9
East through early 2017
The
Lindsey St. bridge over I-35 and all I-35 on- and off-ramps at Lindsey St.
are closed through early 2017 for interchange reconstruction.
Drivers,
including University of Oklahoma traffic, should use the I-35 on-and
off-ramps at SH-9 East.
Lindsey
St. traffic is detoured on Ed Noble Parkway/28th Ave. S.W., SH-9 East and
24th Ave. S.W.
Speed limits are reduced and drivers should expect delays on I-35,
especially during peak travel periods, and plan extra time or consider an
alternate route such as SH-77H (Sooner Rd.)
Meridian Ave. narrowed at S.W. 29th St. through fall 2016
Meridian Ave. is narrowed to one lane in each direction between
S.W. 29th St. and just north of S.W. 15th St. for a resurfacing and widening
project in partnership with the City of Oklahoma City. The project is expected
to continue through fall 2016.
MacArthur Blvd. narrows intermittently at N.W. 50th St. through
June
Drivers can expect intermittent lane closures on MacArthur Blvd.
at N.W. 50th St. continuing through June for an on-going
intersection and streetscape project in partnership with the City of Warr
Acres.
