The two right lanes of westbound I-44 (going south) will be closed
between N.W. 23rd St. and N.W. 10th St. from 9 p.m. tonight to 6 a.m. Thursday
for bridge painting.
I-35 narrows at Main St. in Norman tonight
North and southbound I-35 will be narrowed to one lane between
Main St. and SH-9 West in Norman from 9 p.m. tonight to 6 a.m.
Thursday for ongoing bridge work. Ramps will remain open.
Lindsey St. bridge, ramps at I-35 in Norman closed; detour on SH-9
East through early 2017
• The Lindsey St. bridge over I-35 and all I-35
on- and off-ramps at Lindsey St. are closed through early 2017 for interchange
reconstruction.
• Drivers, including University of Oklahoma traffic,
should use the I-35 on and off-ramps at SH-9 East.
• Lindsey St. traffic is detoured on Ed Noble
Parkway/28th Ave. S.W. SH-9 East and 24th Ave. S.W.
Speed limits are reduced and drivers should expect delays on I-35,
especially during peak travel periods, and plan extra time or consider an
alternate route such as SH-77H (Sooner Rd.)
I-40 temporarily closes near El Reno Friday, Saturday nights
All lanes of east and westbound I-40 between US-81 and Banner Rd.
will be temporarily closed with a rolling road block by law enforcement twice
for about 20 minutes each time from 10 p.m. Friday to 6 a.m. Saturday and again
from 10 p.m. Saturday to 6 a.m. Sunday for removal of the existing Radio Rd.
bridge over I-40. Drivers are strongly encouraged to avoid the area complete
and use an alternate route, such as SH-66, during these times.
I-40 narrows intermittently in El Reno through 2016
Drivers can expect intermittent lane closures on I-40 two miles
east of US-81 for ongoing interchange construction at Radio Rd. continuing
through 2016.
The City of El Reno has a companion widening project on Radio Rd.

I-240 shoulder closes,
speed limit reduces at Shields Blvd. Monday
The westbound I-240 shoulder will be closed between Shields Blvd.
and Santa Fe Ave. beginning Monday for dirt work as part of the first phase of
the I-35/I-240 Crossroads interchange reconstruction. The speed limit is
reduced and drivers should plan extra travel time. This phase is expected to
continue through fall 2017.

I-240 narrows to one lane near Air Depot Blvd. nightly through
mid-May
Eastbound I-240 will be narrowed and ramps intermittently closed
between Air Depot Blvd. and the I-40 junction from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. nightly for
a resurfacing project that continues through mid-May.
I-40 narrows to one lane at I-40 Business near El Reno through
June
Drivers can expect intermittent lane closures on both east and
westbound I-40 at I-40 Business through June for bridge work. Eastbound will be
open during morning rush hour, westbound will be open during evening rush hour.
I-40 ramps at Anderson Rd. closed through summer for city project
The east and westbound I-40 on and off-ramps at Anderson Rd. are
closed through summer for a City of Oklahoma City project. For questions,

On-going Construction Projects:
SH-76 (Council Ave.) speed limit reduced near Blanchard through summer 2016
Drivers can expect lane shifts, a reduced speed limit and construction workers and equipment near the roadway on SH-76 (Council Ave.) three miles north of US-62/SH-9 near Blanchard through summer 2016 for a bridge replacement project.
SH-74 (Portland Ave.) traffic shifted, speed limit reduced through spring 2016
North and southbound SH-74 traffic is shifted to the new west frontage road between Memorial Rd. and N.W. 164th St. for ongoing construction of the new four-lane divided highway and frontage roads. The speed limit is also reduced to 35 mph until the project is complete in spring 2016. Drivers should plan extra travel time and use caution in the work zone.
33rd St. traffic shifted to new lanes at US-77 (Broadway) in Edmond
Drivers can expect lane shifts and the following closures at the intersection of US-77 (Broadway) and 33rd St. in Edmond:
US-77 (Broadway) will have intermittent lane closures
Northbound US-77 (Broadway) is narrowed to one left-turn lane
Eastbound and westbound 33rd St. is narrowed to one lane through the intersection, and traffic has shifted to the new pavement on the south half of the roadway. Drivers may still turn right or left at the intersection.
Drivers should expect lengthy delays and are strongly encouraged to plan for extra time or to use an alternate route. This reconstruction and widening project continues through summer 2016.

I-44 ramp at 39th Expwy (SH-66) narrowed through spring
The westbound I-44 off-ramp to N.W. 39th Expwy (SH-66) is narrowed near SH-74 (Lake Hefner Parkway) through spring for an ongoing bridge rehabilitation project. Drivers should plan extra travel time or locate an alternate route.
I-35 narrowed near Guthrie through fall 2016
Drivers can expect the following lane closures on I-35 in Logan and Payne counties for a resurfacing project that continues through fall 2016.
Southbound I-35 is narrowed to one lane from about 3 miles north of SH-33 (mile marker 160) to US-77 (S. Division St.) near Guthrie through May 2; and
Northbound I-35 is narrowed to one lane from US-77 (S. Division St.) near Guthrie north to the Cimarron River (mile marker 165) through May 2.
SH-9 lanes shifted at 36th Ave. in Norman through 2016
Drivers can expect lane shifts and a reduced speed limit on SH-9 between 36th Ave. S.E. and 72nd Ave. S.E. through 2016 for ongoing highway reconstruction and widening.
I-240 Service Rd. turnaround closes, May Ave. narrows at I-240 nightly through May
The
westbound I-240 Service Rd. protected turnaround (Texas turnaround) at
May Ave. will be closed and northbound May Ave. will be narrowed to one
lane at I-240 from 7 p.m. to 3 a.m. nightly through May for bridge
painting. The westbound I-240 off-ramp will remain open to traffic.
Compress Ave., S.W. 3rd St. closed in downtown through 2016
Motorists can expect intermittent, temporary lane closures on Shields Blvd./E.K. Gaylord Blvd. through 2016 for ongoing construction of the new BNSF railroad bridge just to the east of E.K. Gaylord Blvd.
Other closures for work on the Oklahoma City Boulevard include:
Compress Ave. east of E.K. Gaylord Blvd. and south of Oklahoma Ave. in Bricktown as part of the construction of the new OKC Boulevard.
S.W. 3rd St. at the E.K. Gaylord Blvd. intersection. This street will be reconstructed in a future phase of the OKC Boulevard.
The speed limit remains reduced to 35 mph along E.K. Gaylord Blvd. due to the ongoing nearby work.
Meridian Ave. narrowed at S.W. 29th St. through fall 2016
Meridian Ave. is narrowed to one lane in each direction between S.W. 29th St. and just north of S.W. 15th St. for a resurfacing and widening project in partnership with the City of Oklahoma City. The project is expected to continue through fall 2016.
MacArthur Blvd. narrowed at N.W. 50th St. through spring 2016
MacArthur Blvd. is narrowed to one lane in each direction at N.W. 50th St. through spring 2016 for an intersection and streetscape project in partnership with the City of Warr Acres. N.W. 50th St. is narrowed to one lane in each direction at the intersection.
