To all employees who have already received the first vaccination injection at an ODOC site,
ODOC will cooperate with the Oklahoma State Department of Health to ensure that all employees who received the first vaccination injection will have an opportunity to receive the second injection. However, the recent weather events have created additional challenges.
Therefore, all staff are encouraged to utilize any alternative opportunities to acquire the second injection as soon as possible. If anyone is contacted regarding availability through a local Point of Dispensing (POD), please accept the opportunity.
Remember, in order to receive the second dose, it is vital to take your vaccination card to your vaccine appointment. Also, please confirm that the version of your second dose is the same as your first (whether Pfizer or Moderna).
If you successfully acquire the second dose through other means, please inform your assigned work unit so the Division Institutions as well as Community Corrections and Contract Services may keep our allocation needs updated.
