To: Oklahoma Mortgage Licensees

This is just a friendly reminder that it is almost time to renew your mortgage license through NMLS. The recommended date for renewal submission is November 1, 2022. The licensee shall pay the renewal fee by December 1.

Renewal submissions received after December 1 shall be considered late and will be subject to a late fee of $10.00 per day pursuant to the Oklahoma Administrative Code Title 160:5-1-2(8) (D). The maximum total late fee is $300.00 in addition to the renewal fee.

Late fee invoices will be sent separately after December 1.

To ensure your license renewal is not delayed, continuing education should be completed, and qualified aliens should submit a notarized Affidavit Verifying Lawful Presence in the United States (Form-2).

United States citizens are not required to submit a new Affidavit Verifying Lawful Presence in the United States (Form-1) for license renewals.

Licenses not renewed by December 31 shall expire. If your license expires, you will be required to apply for a new license. A licensee shall not act as a Mortgage Broker, Mortgage Lender or Mortgage Loan Originator until a new license is issued.

If you have questions, please contact the Licensing Department at licensing@okdocc.ok.gov or visit our website at www.ok.gov/okdocc.

Best Regards,
